Where is Westward Whiskey located?

We have four locations in Oregon.

When is the distillery open to the public?

Our Distillery & Tasting Room location is open Monday 12:00PM - 7:00PM and Thursday through Sunday 12:00PM - 8:00PM . We also take tasting reservations through our website. For current days and hours, please check our website. Our PDX Airport Tastng

How do you get to the distillery?

Portland has amazing public transportation; the TriMet bus service or streetcar will drop you off just 3 blocks away. There is also a complimentary shuttle, just get off at the Smith Tea stop. More information on the shuttle service can be found here

Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are encouraged for the distillery location. Please visit our distillery page to make your reservation. Walk-ins are welcome at all other locations.

Are pets allowed?

Service animals are always welcome. While Oregon law prohibits pets inside our establishment, we do have a patio area where pets are welcome.

Do you serve food?

We do not serve food, but you are welcome to bring in outside food. No outside beverages are permitted.

Is your facility ADA accessible?

Our tasting room is ADA compliant. However, there are portions of the distillery tour that are not accessible.

What does the tour experience include?

You will begin the tour with a welcome cocktail in our tasting room. From there you will follow the grain to glass story, learning how every batch of Westward American Single Malt is made start to finish from scratch. While touring the distillery you

Does the tour come with a tasting flight?

The tour includes a welcome cocktail and whiskey flight.

Do you have to take the tour to taste whiskey?

No, we have several flight options that allow for you to taste: Westward American Single Malt and cocktails.

When should I arrive for my tour?

Guests should arrive 10-15 minutes prior to their scheduled tour. The distillery sits adjacent to the railroad tracks and trains can often cause delays. If you get stuck don't worry, we are right on the other side with a cocktail waiting.

Where do I go when I arrive?

Please check in with one of our team members inside the tasting room so that we can welcome you and start you off with a cocktail. From there we will set you up with your guide and begin the tour.

How long are your tours?

Tours are approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

Are children allowed on tours?

Minors are allowed in the tasting room with adult accompaniment, of course. As we are a working distillery, tour participants must be 21 years of age or older.

I don't love whiskey or I don't want to drink, can I still take the tour?

You are certainly more than welcome to join us on the tour but seeing as the Westward experience is all encompassing, you would still be required to pay the full tour cost.

I have a certificate for a "tour and tasting for 4," what does that include?

This certificate is good for a tour or tasting of one’s choosing for up to four people. All participants must be present at the time of redemption, this offer may not be combined with other offers, and has no cash value.

How many people can take one of your classes?

There are many great restaurants in the area: Olympic Provisions, Wayfinder, Produce Row Cafe and Loyal Legion, to name a few.
